Jenn Montgomery

Jenn comes from a Fortune 50 company where she specialized in Human Resource Analytics & Technology and Process Improvement implementations.  She focused her career on Human Capital Management and strategic reporting to help put effective business plans in place.

What are your responsibilities at The HR Consultant?
Sr. Consultant – Assisting clients with Affirmative Action development, HRIT consulting and assistance, personnel process reviews, scorecard and executive level report development.

What strengths do you bring to the team?
An understanding of data and HR technology with an eye for compliance and process improvement. Before joining the team I spent 15 years in HRT and reporting, developing systems to aide in everyday decision making.

What makes you passionate about the work The HR Consultant does?
My favorite thing about The HR Consultant is that we don’t just “check the box.” We help clients move from just having a compliant AAP to understanding how to make the reports and data a strategic tool that can be used all year.

What are your favorite client problems to solve?
I love working on complex data sets, but my favorite thing is helping clients take operational data into the C-Suite as a strategic partner.

What sets The HR Consultant apart?
We help clients bridge the gap between the technical/mathematical side of compliance and the business side of Human Resources.

What are your favorite activities outside of work?
Running, baking, watching sci-fi movies, reading, and writing poetry.

How do you unwind after a long day of solving HR headaches?
I hit the running trails and “run off the crazy.”

What is your favorite vacation destination?

What three items would you take to a desert island?
A water filtration system, a bowie knife, and a fire starter. Unless it’s an island with WiFi and electricity, in which case I’d bring an iPad, a charger, and sunscreen!
